Prices of paraxylene (PX) declined in Asia on Thursday.
Despite gains in upstream Isomer MX values and a spike in downstream PTA rates, prices of PX were assessed lower as regional demand trends weakened on account of the ongoing lunar holidays in China.

Prices of 2EH firmed marginally in Asia this week. Strength in feedstock propylene values allowed sellers to revise their rates higher. Also bullish for 2EH were minor gains recorded in downstream DOP rates.
