Shell is in plans to restart a naphtha cracker following maintenance turnaround.

A Polymerupdate source in Germany informed that the cracker is likely to be restarted in mid-December 2014. It was shut in mid-October 2014.

Located at Wesseling in Germany, the cracker has a capacity of 260,000 mt/year.
