New MTBE plant to be started by Shandong Huachao

Shandong Huachao is in plans to start a new methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE) plant.

A Polymerupdate source in China informed that the plant is likely to be started in mid-2015.

To be located at Linyi in Shandong province of China, the plant will have a production capacity of 200,000 mt/year.
