Steam cracker to be shut by Showa Denko for maintenance:: 25 Nov 2013 :: Showa Denko is in plans to shut a steam cracker for maintenance turnaround. A Polymerupdate source in Japan informed that the cracker is likely to be shut in mid-March 2014. It is planned to remain off-stream for around one month. Located in Oita, Japan, it has an ethylene capacity of 695,000 mt/year and propylene capacity of 425,000 mt/year. |
