CRI Catalyst Company (CRICC)
The emissions solutions & energy savings you need now.
Compliance, environmental responsibility and energy cost management are now all part of the emissions controls landscape. Today’s industrial facilities are not only looking to reduce their emissions, they are also seeking immediate, cost-effective and proven technologies to lessen environmental impact and energy use. CRI Catalyst Company offers catalyst technologies that can help your facility reach these goals today.
Environmental Catalysts& Systems:NOx Reduction
CRI Selective Catalytic (SCR) NOx Reduction Technology
Since its commercial introduction in the 1970's, Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) of nitrogen oxides (NOx) has gained wide acceptance worldwide as the most effective and technologically proven method for high-percentage NOx removal from flue gases.
CRI's technology, known as the Shell DeNOx System (SDS), operates on the SCR principal. It uses ammonia (NH 3) as the reductant and a catalyst to promote the reaction of NH 3 with NOx, forming nitrogen and water.
CRI Catalytic Dioxin Destruction Technology
- Dioxins
Dioxins comprise a family of over 200 chemical compounds known as persistent organic pollutants, harmful by-products of industrial processes and waste incineration. Major sources of dioxin emissions include municipal solid, industrial liquid and medical waste incineration, as well as some chemical and metal sintering operations.
- The Shell Dioxin Destruction System
- Single-step simplicity
- Low emissions at low temperatures
- Unique reactor design
- High destruction efficiency

CO2 Polishing Catalysts
CRI provides stable high-performance catalysts to remove trace contaminants from carbon dioxide streams prior to further use in chemical, agricultural and/or food applications. Additionally, these catalyst systems are outstanding for purifying carbon dioxide before sequestration whether or not enhanced oil recovery is the intended use.
